Relaxing Onsen Experience

The onsen facilities at the hotel were superb! I loved the outdoor bath, where I could soak while enjoying nature. There were several different baths with varying temperatures, which made the experience even more relaxing. Despite the strong sulfur smell, the water left my skin feeling rejuvenated. Comfortable Japanese-Style Room

I opted for a Japanese-style room with tatami flooring, and it exceeded my expectations. The space was clean, neat, and very comfortable. The futon beds provided a unique experience that I really enjoyed. After returning from dinner, it was good to find the futons laid out, ready for a cozy night. This room added to the traditional Japanese experience I was hoping for.

Really good Souvenir Shop

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's little store that offered a variety of unique souvenirs. They had many Studio Ghibli items and local Hokkaido products at prices that were much better than the main shopping areas. I loved the sampling options available, which made it fun to try before I buy. This shop added an unexpected enjoyment to my stay!

The highlight of my stay was definitely the onsen, which was fantastic and quite luxurious. The room was surprisingly spacious but had issues with noise and cleanliness. Unfortunately, the dining experience left much to be desired, and the location, while convenient, felt crowded with tour groups. Overall, I enjoyed the hot spring amenities, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a complete vacation experience.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience for me. While the onsen was absolutely stunning and provided a perfect way to relax, the overall dining and room quality left much to be desired. The location was convenient, and the nice staff made efforts to be helpful. However, I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you're really just after the hot springs.
